HEB: Texas’s Beloved Brand
Headquartered in San Antonio, H-E-B (officially H-E-B Grocery Company) was founded in 1905 on the ground floor of a family home in Kerrville.
Today, there are over 300 stores across Texas and there are various concepts like Central Market, H-E-B Plus!
And Mi Tienda.
When asked to choose which famous Texas brand represented the best of Texas and its values and residents, H-E-B came in first place, followed by Blue Bell Ice Cream.
Which Brand do Texans Devote the Most Time To?
Among popular Texas brands, H-E-B is also the most-used Texas brand in the state, with 67.5% of Texans saying that they interact with H-E-B more often than Southwest Airlines, Blue Bell, or even Buc-ee’s.
Buc-ee’s: a Choice above Others
Buc-ee’s, the Texan-famous convenience store chain, is headquarted in Lake Jackson, Texas and first opened in Clute, Texas in 1982.
Today, the gas station and convenience store is well-known in many states like Florida, Georgia, and Alabama, but the roots and larger-than-life selection of everything from T-shirts to jerky are very much still Texas.
The majority of Texans polled (65%) have actually chosen to go out of their way to Buc-ee’s over another gas station that would have been closer or easier to get to.
Whether it’s the friendly atmosphere, the delightfully clean bathrooms, or the sheer amount of things to buy, it’s clear that Texans love Buc-ee’s.
Gifts from Buc-ee’s
Ever wonder where that housewarming gift came from or the birthday present your friend brought you?
If it had the iconic Buc-ee’s beaver on it, it was probably obvious, but if not, there was a good chance it still came from Buc-ee’s!
A whopping 70% of Texans have bought someone a gift from Buc-ee’s, which just goes to show how Buc-ee’s has established itself as a one-stop-shop in Texas.
It also doesn’t hurt to have a huge variety of gift options for that person you forgot to buy for as you’re filling up gas on the way to their house.
Thanks, Buc-ee’s!
